Flying to Minnesota

Hello,
My name's Phoebe Ellen Miles, but you can call me Globe-Trotter Extraordinaire! On Wednesday, everyone came over to San Francisco say goodbye before I flew out to Minnesota. I landed in Minnesota and drove all the way to Wisconsin. That's three States in about eight hours! I was so tired, I slept the rest of the day; if you don't believe me, just take a look at the last picture.
I'm going to have my second Christmas soon. I've been getting great presents so far, and I want to thank everyone for thinking of me this holiday season.
I'll have more to share soon, so check back.
Love you all,
Phoebe, Emily, & Chris

My First Christmas

Hello Family & Friends,
I celebrated my first Christmas party last weekend, and I had a wonderful time. Everything was so jolly! And I got a whole bunch of great presents. I can get used to this!
I'm so excited to be getting two more Christmases when I go out to Wisconsin next week!
If you look at the last picture, you'll see that I was partied out by the end of the night. From what I hear, New Years Eve is even more of a party. I guess I'll find out in 15 days.
Love you all, leave comments, and visit again.

Grandpa Ron & Grandma Joyce Visit

Hello All,

My Grandpa Ron & Grandma Joyce came out to visit me last week, and boy did we have fun!
Between meals and sleeping, I spent a lot of time playing with Grandma & Grandpa. I think it was about an hour.

This was the first time I got some time away from Mom & Dad since I was born. I needed some PTO from those two!

Mom & Dad & me are looking forward to going out to Wisconsin for Christmas. I heard it's cold there, but I also get to see my first real horse. I think this is called "compromise." Fortunately I don't have to deal with it too much :)

Come back soon to hear all about my first Christmas party ever.

Love you all.

Phoebe, Emily, & Chris

Howdy Y'all

Hello Phoebe Fans,
I'm just practicing some slang I picked up in good-old Oklahoma. I'm a cowgirl. Giddyup!
Mommy and Daddy took me on a plane ride; it was pretty neat looking out the window and seeing the world from 3,000 feet, but I could have used some more elbow room.
Anyway, I got to spend a week hanging out with Grandma Robin and Grandpa Dale. Mom and Dad and Grandma and Grandpa took me all over town and I saw a rose garden, a university, a marathon, and Dillard's. What a good time we had. On Thursday they made some big deal about food, and I got stuck with a bottle of milk. No fair.
And boy let me tell you, Tulsa's not San Francisco! The hills are gone and houses have all kinds of stuff around them (I think it's called open space?).
Well, it's past my bedtime so I have to say goodbye.
Love,
Phoebe, Emily, & Chris

Minnesota Population +1

Hello,
This weekend Mommy took me up to Sacramento and we left Dad at home all by himself :(
He decided that he should spend some time updating my blog, so here I am.
Some big news from Minnesota - Sean and Jennifer brought Graeme Huston Spinks, their second son, into the world Tuesday, November 6th, 1:40 PM Central Standard Time. I'm so excited to see them when I go to Minnesota for Christmas! It's not often I get to meet someone younger than me.
Also, I though I would give you some more of my Halloween pictures since I'm so cute as a Princess.
Well, Dad's taking the rest of the night off to watch Star Wars: Episode Two Electric Boogaloo.
I hope everyone's doing well and I look forward to seeing you over the Holidays.
Love,
Phoebe, Emily & Chris

Happy Halloween!

Hello Friends & Family,
I wanted to let everyone know I had a great Halloween! I went to some parties and got to dress up like a princess. I even had a Halloween outfit with some scary things on it like a spider and jack-o-lantern. I scared a whole bunch of people and filled my pillow case with candy!
I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving, even though I don't get to dress like a princess (I guess I'll just have to keep acting like one). From what I understand, Thanksgiving is a holiday where everyone eats a lot. I'm all for that!
Well I've got to get back to work, but I'm looking forward to seeing everyone on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Love,
Phoebe, Emily & Chris

Just Hanging Around

Hello Family & Friends,
Nothing much new since last week. Mom & Dad spent the weekend looking for a new gym close to our house. Apparently, getting me into the world got them out of shape. I'm so high-maintenance!
I went to Mom's work Friday and was held by a whole bunch of strangers. I guess Mom bosses them around, too. They invited me to a Halloween party this Friday and Mom got me a fun costume. Check back next week to see what it is.
Everything's going well; not much else to say.
Check back soon.
Love you all,
Phoebe, Emily, & Chris

Great-Uncle Ken's Birthday

Hello Everyone,
This weekend I went to Great-Uncle Kens birthday party and was sung to by a barbershop quartet. Even though I didn't get any cake or ice cream, I had a great time.

I'm excited for the Holidays because I'll be spending Thanksgiving with Grandma Robin and Grandpa Dale and I'm going to Wisconsin for Christmas to see Grandma Joyce and Grandpa Ron and my Great-Aunts, cousins, and Great-Grandma Agnes. Wow, I can't believe how many people I'm related to!
Love you all,
Phoebe, Emily, & Chris

Grandma Robin Came to Visit

Hello All,
What a busy week I had! Grandma Robin came out to visit and we had a wonderful time!
Mommy and Robin took me out shopping and bought me new clothes since I'm growing so fast. I'm already 12 pounds! Yikes, I can't wait to learn to walk!
We all went up to Sacramento to visit family; I'll let you know more about that on my next post, but boy was it hot. And far away! We spent almost two hours in the car. I've never been in a car that long (not even when Mommy or Daddy are trying to get me to fall asleep).
This Thanksgiving Mommy and Daddy are taking me to somewhere called Oklahoma to see Grandma Robin and Grandpa Dale. I'm excited about visiting them and taking my first airplane ride. I hope airport security doesn't unpack my diaper bag. What a mess!
Anyway, it's time for me to go to bed.
Love you all,
Phoebe

Three Weeks, Three Days

Hello Phoebe Admirers,
It's been a while since my last posting; I don't know where all the time goes!
Anyway, this week was full of excitement. I got my first CD (Led Zeppelin), went to Renee's for dinner on Sunday, went shopping at my favorite store (Lullaby Lane), and went to my first restaurnat! Mommy had quesadillas, Daddy had a chimichanga, and I had a bottle. Yum.
As you'll see in this video, I'm getting more active and alert every week. Check it out and leave comments!
Love,
Phoebe, Emily & Chris

Two-Week Birthday

Hello Everyone,
Saturday was my Two-Week Birthday, and wow did I live it up! I was so busy that I have too much video for one posting, so come back soon.
Today Mom and Dad are taking me on one of my first trips, some place called Target. I hope it's more fun than that other place they took me to, the hospital. All they did there was poke me with needles. I don't understand why anyone would want to go there! I heard Target has toys, so it's better already.
Anyway, here's my birthday video. I hope you enjoy it.
Come back soon.
Love,
Phoebe, Emily & Chris

My First Holiday

Hello Phoebe Fans,
Today was my very first Holiday. I've heard plenty about them, and now I know why. We had a great time barbecuing at Ken and Judy's and I even got some presents! Auntie Renee wrote a letter to me about the day I was born. I can't wait to learn to read!
Here's a vidoe of our Labor Day festivities. I slept thru most of it, but had a great time none the less.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
Love,
Phoebe, Emily & Chris

Hello Everyone,
Thank you for visiting my blog. It's my One-Week Birthday today and I thought I would share a video of my dad going crazy last week. I already have him wrapped around my finger! What a sucker.
Anyway, enjoy the show.
